Strong earthquake tremors shook Delhi and the surrounding region on Tuesday night, leaving residents in a state of panic. The tremors were caused by a series of four earthquakes that struck Nepal in quick succession, with the strongest registering a magnitude of 6.2.
The tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR at 10:17 PM, causing buildings to sway and people to rush out of their homes. The earthquake's epicenter was located in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan, approximately 250 kilometers northeast of Kabul.
The National Capital Region was particularly hard-hit by the tremors, with people reporting widespread shaking and damage to buildings. Several buildings have been reported to have developed cracks, and authorities are conducting inspections to assess the extent of the damage.
