Day Two NFL Draft Grades
Chad Reuter's Quick-Snap Analysis
Round Two (Picks 33-64)
Following a record-breaking Day One of the 2023 NFL Draft, Day Two saw teams focus on rebuilding their defenses. Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. (4th overall) and Missouri defensive tackle Darius Robinson (No. 33 overall) were among the highlights of the first round. With the first-round pick acquired in last year's draft-day trade with the Chicago Bears, the New England Patriots selected Georgia linebacker Nolan Smith at No. 33 overall.
Chad Reuter of NFL.com has released his quick-snap grades for all 32 teams based on their Day Two selections. The top-graded teams include the Cincinnati Bengals, Philadelphia Eagles, and Kansas City Chiefs, who all addressed key areas of need with talented prospects.
Round Three (Picks 65-96)
In the third round, teams continued to prioritize defense, with several intriguing prospects coming off the board. Chris Trapasso of CBS Sports highlighted the selection of Penn State edge rusher Chop Robinson by the Pittsburgh Steelers at No. 68 overall as a potential steal.
Reuter also praised the New York Jets for selecting Texas Tech linebacker Dimitri Moore at No. 76 overall, calling it a "great value pick." The Jets also added depth to their secondary by taking Florida cornerback Devin Moore at No. 88 overall.
Overall Grades
Based on their combined Day One and Day Two picks, Reuter has awarded overall grades to all 32 teams. The top-graded teams include the Bengals, Eagles, Chiefs, Detroit Lions, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. These teams have addressed multiple areas of need and added talented players who could make an immediate impact.
