'Wide Receiver U' Ready to Debut in Atlanta

Georgia's Wide Receivers Prepare to Dominate the NFL

The University of Georgia has long been known for producing some of the nation's top college football players. In recent years, the Bulldogs have become even more dominant on offense, thanks in large part to their wide receivers.

Over the past three seasons, Georgia has had at least three wide receivers selected in the NFL Draft. In 2020, the Bulldogs had a record four wide receivers drafted, including first-round pick George Pickens.

This year, Georgia is expected to have another strong group of wide receivers. The Bulldogs return their top three receivers from last season, including Jermaine Burton, Arik Gilbert, and Ladd McConkey.

These three receivers combined for over 2,000 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns last season. They are all considered to be NFL prospects, and they could be even better in 2022.

In addition to their returning receivers, Georgia also has a number of talented newcomers who could contribute this season. These newcomers include five-star recruit Adonai Mitchell and four-star recruit Dillon Bell.

With so much talent at the wide receiver position, Georgia is poised to be one of the most dangerous offenses in the country in 2022. The Bulldogs have a chance to make a run at the College Football Playoff, and their wide receivers could be a big reason why.

Here is a list of Georgia's wide receivers who have been drafted in the NFL since 2020:

  • George Pickens (2022)
  • Kadarius Toney (2021)
  • Mecole Hardman (2019)
  • Terry Godwin (2019)

Here are some of the reasons why Georgia has become 'Wide Receiver U':
